Shipping SAL is cheaps, like 500 yen if you use a big box. Put it in a padded envelope, DS cases are durable.

For something small like that, probably less than 2 weeks. I ordered something on Amazon.co.jp on the 9th, it got here yesterday, the 16th. The most it's ever taken for me is 3 weeks.

Bingo! It's tired, cliche j-pop crap in Tokyo, and all new and foreign to me.

And it's far less annoying because I don't know the lyrics or understand what stupid pop crap they're singing about. Thus the beauty of Japanese music games.

If it was random American pop music I wouldn't care, but about half of those songs are in the list of music I never want to hear again. Not because it's bad music, mind you, but just because I'm so fucking sick of them from being stuck in everything for marketing reasons... just like this game.

Just got this in the mail, it's pretty good.

EBA does everything this game does far better. The only bad songs are the Queen and Jamiroquai ones (in terms of gameplay).

I dunno about far better--I like that EBA lets you skip the intros to songs, and that the wheels are easier, but I can't think of anything else that's notably different/better in terms of gameplay.

I'll give you the Queen song (and I love Queen), but Canned Heat is an excellent song for the game. The off-beats in the beginning are tough but satisfying.
