I played EBA for about 10 mins and although the stories were somewhat amusing, for whatever reason, I couldn't get into it. It's like Ouendan ... except no soul. Sorry. I guess I'm just a f-chan for life.
I picked up EBA yesterday and, although I like it, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan is a much better game. Maybe it's just the fact that most of the music in EBA really annoys me, and I love Osu!'s soundtrack.
I love the humor in EBA, though. All that Osu charm is still in there.

I guess so. I liked both a lot but there are definite improvements in both the menu (skipping intros, replays, seeing where you died again, etc.) and in the game itself. The patterns are better in EBA, it's like they got better at making them. A lot less jumping across the entire screen to hit fast beats. It's hard to explain I guess, but it feels like a sequel to me and going back to Osu is painful.
Both games are full of crappy songs I would never in my life own under other circumstances, but EBA also has some great songs like Jumping Jack Flash, better animations, better stories, and a better overall system so it wins.
I just beat Ready Steady Go! passing all three sections with the cheerleaders. Just wanted you guys to know that.

lol again at that song list for EBA. Christ, is that off-putting. Material Girl, Believe, Rock this Town, and Let's Dance are the only good songs. I'll stick with Ouendan (which I never really got into by the way... don't see why people love this game so much... it's kinda bothersome).
Believe is good, but not September or Canned Heat? And you can listen to minimoni, but not Jackson 5?
Hulk Bryman is the greatest character in videogame history.
You bet, kid.
