I had a group of friends that all lived together and played Fable.... they did not get hyped from the internet, and they ALL thought it wasn't very good. They got sick of it really fast and complained about a lot of differest aspects of it. The game itself made them do it, not the internet or magazines.

Fable is like a single player World of Warcraft that's only 1/10th as good as World of Warcraft.

Stealing shit ruled though.

The graphics were boring and generic, the combat was worthless and just not fun... it felt like a really tired out Zelda game with less variety, a smaller world, worse characters, and a crappy story.

I don't care if it wasn't what they said it would be, what it is just isn't very good.
