Haha.. I caught it on the very early Toonami block on Cartoon Network a few times and always found myself laughing at just that. It really was like the same thing all the time. I dunno, maybe people just liked Snarf's zingers.

I liked it back then. In retrospect it was just a He-Man ripoff. Sword helps you power up, decomposing main villain, silly henchmen, pussy sidekick (Snarf/Cringer), Toughguy sidekick (Panthro/Man-at-arms), shitty moral at the end, etc.Originally Posted by StriderKyo

People will remember the Transformers fondly forever becuase of the movie. No matter how bad the writing to the TF show was, the writing for the TF movie was just as good as any other scifi action movie, ever.
It was on par with the GI Joe movie (and the GI Joe movie had a better theme song)
