Thread: Old Cartoons/tv shows from the 80's/90's

  1. Now I feel like watching " the Front" ep of the Simpsons, with the "Action Figure Man - the Buy Me Action Figure Man episode" quote. I've got some of the legendary banned cartoons listed on rotten.com , and they're pretty amazing to watch now.

The only reason I liked it was because the last episode was setup so that the entire season could loop over and over into infinity.

There was another show, "Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad", that had a similar last episode. Pure genius really.
    Best cartoon ever made? Wow...

    For those that don't know...

I think Batman the Animated Series is probably the best cartoon ever, but I'm fickle and my opinions change quickly. As for Might Max, oh yeah, this show was awesome, and I would love to see it again (even if it does end up sucking). I had forgotten that it was originally a spin off of the Polly Pocket toys, and the cartoon was pretty much made just to sell the toys, but that didn't stop the show from kicking ass. That site that was linked which had the intro in it was cool, brought back a lot of memories, I haven't seen the show since like 1994 but I still rememeber so much about it.

As for Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, I used to watch that pile of shit as well. It used to air right after the disney afternoon on chanel 11, before the WB days. 5pm always sucked backed then because there was never anything worth watching at time.

  4. Batman the Animated Series IS the best cartoon ever.. There's no arguement, and I've felt that way for years. The only thing that comes close in terms of the amount of times I could watch it for hours on end, and watch the same ones over and over, are Looney Tunes.

  5. Well I just got the entire series of ebay for 20 buck in pretty good quality. I must say it's up there in the top 10 cartoon to come out in the 90's. Probably one of the funniest, informative, deepest, self discovering cartoons I've watched and enjoyed in a while. I think people are starting to forget that some of our cartoon are just as good and in some cases better than alot of the anime out there.

  6. kickass site
no fucking wonder I had such found memories of those past shows
they were all anime, well atleast in design & animation
even Dennis the Menace was anime

btw can you save those intros to your folder & has anyone had any luck with downloading the movie trailers, they all seem to just redirect you to the main page

Muppet Babies theme song > all other Theme songs on that site

Bringing it back to TV is pointless.. it's all about getting released to DVD.

I figured that went without saying, so I figured I'd just mention the OTHER problem with the post.

Wow, that's very cool. I never saw either of these episodes but I love the idea.

I tried looking them up on wikipedia...but I can't find a site that talks about them.
