Agreed. This movie was fucking fantastic.
i just saw this on fri and this is the defintley the funniest movie of the year. Vince Vaughn is in full stride his character is pretty much like swingers x 10. Plus it;s got Christopher Walken you just can't go wrong with this movie.
Agreed. This movie was fucking fantastic.
Yeah, this movie was great. That redhead is hot.
I really liked it, kinda long, a touch sappy, but good none the less.
I'm going to see it tonight. It's the only classic comedy this summer from Vaughn and Wilson (Or even Stiller) and it looks great. Old Schools best comedy revolved around insulting marriage (And Ferrell's antics), so this should be great. I'm glad they're not releasing one every month of the summer like last. I guess it was a treat, but sometimes less is more.

Not bad.
This is probably the most ridiculous move I've ever seen. And I loved every minute of it.
I loved it! I can't even remember a moment in the movie where I wasn't laughing. Ebert is right in that they didn't exactly use Walken to the fullest extent of his comedic potential, but why did they need to? Everything about this movie was great. I also liked a little bit of nostalgia and righteousness sprinkled in at the end to help give the story arch a bit more meaning.
Vince Vaughn, hands down, stole the show. He didn't carry it, but he stole it. His character was battered and broken and every moment of it his reactions told the tale. You really felt sorry for him, even though, technically, he was a sleaze bag. Little scenes like the morning after while Jeremy was steaming after his terrible night were great. "I love you too" with a mouth full of muffins got a good laugh out of the theatre. You really got the feeling they were buds and that they'd go through hell for one another because of some ridiculous code they had cooked up.
Ferrell was hilarious, as usual, and was used sparingly enough as not to overshadow Vaughns great performance. I'm contemplating buying this on DVD because I had such a good time with it. If I'm still stoked about it by the time the DVD is launched I'll pick it up.
Very good and really funny. The bits at the beginning with Owen and Vaughn crashing several weddings in a montage was great.
