I've never bothered watching House of 1000 corpses in anticipation of the unrated cut that was supposed to come out.

can't believe theres not a thread yet. take it for what you will but IGN gave it a 4.5/5. ill be seeing it this weekend. from what they say it could be the slasher film ive been waiting for and a "very hard R rating".

The first movie was enjoyably pathetic, except for rockabilly girl and the weird monolouges.

First movie is really overrated. I found it quite boring.
Still, I am interested in the sequel.

I dunno. I read alot of people praising it too. Even on these boards back in the day. It wasnt horrible per say, and had some good parts, but overall it was blah.

I had no expectation for the first movie. Just something to see at a cheap theatre. But I had a lot of fun and it had bunches of laughs. This movie seems to be even better.

Sherri Moon Zombie is in it......for that alone Ill watch.
The last movie I thought was pretty disturbing.And for a horror movie, thats pretty good - its done its job.
The guy in the clown make-up who owns that freak shop ....Yeah, creepiest guy alive...seriously.

I agree on the Sherri Moon thing. Loved her in the first one.
And I don't think he's really scary but Captain Spaulding is by far my fav House character. Sig owns me.
I'm really really really excited to see this. A friend and I actually drove three hours to Knoxville to see HO1kC when it first came out because the theaters around here refused to play it since we happen to live in the bible belt's large metal buckle. I fucking loved the movie. Mindless slasher flick straight from the 70's.
I cannot wait for the Devil's Rejects.
