I agree. Sure it's sleek and the graphics are nice, but there is shit on it and there is only going to be shit on it for a long time. The homebrew stuff can be nice, but personaly, I can only get so excited playing the same games I was 10 years ago.

I agree about the home brew stuff -- It's nice, but I can't see myself using that as my primary function. I can already play all the classics I want on my PC/Dreamcast/Original System of Release, how many more places do I need to play Super Mario Bros 3 and Gunstar Heroes?
Besides, in a months time you know the 2.0 firmware will be hacked anyway.
I'll be interested in getting a white PSP when it's released in America and the price has gone down some... maybe.

I also wanted homebrew so I could remote control some of my PC, but with any luck that'll work with the official browser instead of just the hacked Netscape one.

Besides, in a months time you know the 2.0 firmware will be hacked anyway.

They still haven't done 1.51 and I imagine 2.0 will be a lot further along then 1.52. The only reason the homebrew stuff works in the first place is because of a hole (along the same lines as softmodding an Xbox), they'll probably have to take a completely different approach that will take a fuckton more work for the 1.51+ versions which is why we haven't seen anything yet.

Knowing sony, if the white PSP ever gets a release outside of Japan, it'll be $100 more expensive, just like the PS2 variations that were sold through the Metreon store.
