  2. Gargoyles was essentially voice-acting gigs for every actor off Star Trek: The Next Generation. Which is good, considering in the mid-90s when it was coming on these guys weren't getting many other good acting parts.

I keep thinking about that one show where these guys made a holographic videogame and the badguys kept coming to life out of it and they had to fight them, anyway Brent Spiner was in one of the episodes. The show sucked, but Data ruled.

EDIT: The show was called Deadly Games.

yeah, that was the one I was talking about. It was so stupid. They were trying to be anti gun, but the gun he got was a cops. Eliza needed the gun to do her job.

I know, it just the first one I could think of. The best eps were the ones that were not trying to make me a better person.

  5. You bitches forgot to mention Courage the Cowardly Dog and Samurai Jack. I hope Supermario has his way with all of you! Bitches...

"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."

  6. Courage would have been so much better if wasn't a poor man's Eek the Cat.

    Yeah, I went there.

Samurai Jack was pretty good, and had some really interesting epsiodes. The bulk of though, was just treading from one sci-fi / fantasy cliche to the next. I am glad it led to the Clone Wars animated series though, that was a plus.

I really liked samurai jack. Something about the over all way everything was done was really nice. The concept was very light hearted, but the way you saw it was very artistic, or at least imo. I could see where some would not like it. Not everyone goes for that sort of thing.

  8. Ironplant is back, and bumps a dying thread.

Good Times are are back again.

I agree/disagree with the Samurai Jack comments. It had a great feel and style, but to me never delved into plot and story. It was just Jack fight whatever thing he meets. I would have liked a bit more development of the plot.

  9. I totally agree. Jack got way too monotonus. The fights were all the same "cut the screen into a bunch of sections and show a different robot blowing up". It had some really pretty backgrounds and excellent sound work though.

It had plot, it just wasn't spoon fed. It was the story of a warrior.

Did you get to see the ep where jack is a white ninja fighting a black ninja? I thought that was pretty orginal for a cartoon.
