I wanted to make a thread, but was busy at work.
I am going to see it tomorrow, so I expect brainiless, chase action flick, Bay is great at.
What the fuck? Not only si there no thread, but no large theater in a 15 mile radius of my home is playing it. The spectrum 21, the aliso 20, even the 9034823098420948723 AMC at the block. Seriously what the fuck? I had to go to shitty newport island 7 to see it
It was good, in no way a dissapointment, although i know where some people can complain, and seriously... Scarlett just beat natalie portman in my book in hots for girl next door

I just saw it, and I enjoyed it. I was expecting it to suck, but it wasn't that bad. The underlying concept is a good one, but I would have taken it in other directions. The two biggest problems with the film are:
1. Shakey cam. This is a plague upon hollywood, any director who feels he has to violently shake the camera to make the scene seem more exciting is a hack.
2. Product Placements. Wow, the product placement in this movie is so rediculously over the top it is literally laughable (the theatre kept cracking up at the product shots). This movie is worth seeing just to count all the times the camera perfectly centers upon a company logo. Nokia, Puma, Rebok, Aquafina, Xbox (the most rediculous one of all), Michelob, whatever the hell car he was driving, and on an on.
Anyway, most of the acting was pretty good, Buscemi was under used, and Scarlett Johansen looked great in it. Oh, and keep an eye out for Neelix from Star Trek Voyager.
7.5/10

After seeing the preview there was no need to see the movie. They show what seems like all the major parts including the end.
I saw this. I'd give it about a 6 out of 10. I know it's a movie, but everything seemed WAY too convenient for Ewan McGregor's and Scarlett Johansson's characters. I think this movie asks you to suspend too much disbelief.
Well my theater wasnt playing it, and neither were 1000 theaters nationwide. It seems their in a copywrite dispute, with yes the clonus horror, so this movie is more then just tanking. Wonder if the dispute will be settled, we've been getting bitched at for not playing the movie.
