Shouldn't this list be dependent on what year or decade you were born?

Movies like Star Wars and Old Yeller are timeless, wether you were born in the 70's or the 90's. Look at movies like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or Bambi. Both were made long before I was born, yet they were very popular films during my childhood.

In the UK, they call it the Bicycle Thieves, check IMDB.

Also, 400 blows I could easily see on a top films on all time list, because whether you thought it was boring or not, the influence of French New Wave is so profound, everyone who watches films should atleast experience a bit of it and Truffaut is a great place to start. I am not saying this to be a snob, the film has amazing elements and early Godard, such as Breathless, along with Truffaut, influenced cinema like no other era of films, i.e. the jump cut and other film techniques were created during this wave. Plus, being into Asian films, their visual style is taken from the French New Wave.

BUT no freaking 14 year is going to understand this film, sorry, but that kid would have to be really freaking developed to dig it at that age, I know I would have turned it off.

A while ago I read this interesting article about Spirited Away, found it and linked it below, which discusses the sexual elements of the film. IMO Spirited Away is a brilliant film, probably the best animation I've ever seen for all audiences, but Princess Mononoke pales in comparison to most of his other works.

Is Goonies on that list? Cause it damn well should be. And let's not forget MONSTER SQUAD!

I recently saw "Breathless" and "Shoot the Piano Player", and like both of them alot, expecially the second.
