france airbus explodes in toronto

- happened about an hour and a half ago
- air france passenger jet with about 291 people onboard
- some evacuated, including pilot/copilot
- right beside the 401
- theory of the moment is that the plane got stuck with lightning during landing and fried all the innards so the pilot couldn't control the plane as it dived into a ravine just off the runway snapping in half and exploding

I live near the airport, from my balcony I can see the airport buildings and planes landing all the time. I was standing out there and saw the plane coming in, didn't pay attention to it... then minutes later I see giant plumes of smoke from a few hundred meters past the runway.
