Been getting back into Red Faction and a little Grand Theft Auto III.

Haven't played my PSP in about two months.

It also had widescreen, a higher resolution and a much more solid engine (though not 60FPS).

However, XL/2097 had better track design, an overall better soundtrack and weapons that feel much more powerful (especially the quake, which was neutered in 3).

3 is probably the better game, but I find XL/2097 the more interesting one.

Yeah, I took your advice, and checked this out, but I don't like it. I find it to be kinda... cheap feeling. It just seems really low budget. And, I have lots of action games that are really nicely produced (GoW, DMC3) that I still need to beat.

    Thanks though.

  4. Wipeout Pure, Earthbound, World of Warcraft and every now and then God of War.

I bought the soundtrack to 2097 when it came out from Sam Goody. It's still good.

Didn't play Conker, and MechAssault wasn't my thing either. Breakdown, however, was one of the best game I played this entire generation. Not for everyone (pussies, for example), but a very good game nonetheless. Anyway, I'm now playing Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike -- a purported "expansion pack" that is better in every way than the game it purports to expand.

  7. what is this "purport" you speak of?

Just lame and vauge way of inviting further comment (such as yours) so that I can plug the game further by noting that it is a complete game in and of itself -- way too much stuff to be a simple expansion pack -- all in the vain hope of getting any of you to join me in some online play.
    "Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"

  9. i've come to enjoy the word and will continue using it in nonsensical ways for the remainder of my day.
