Thread: What Are You Playing?

  1. F-Zero GX- Started playing this again about two weeks ago and I'm currently hooked on it just as bad as I was when it first came out. Trying to finish unlocking EVERYTHING. Having some problems with the story missions but I've got a good handle on the actual Gran Prix events. Too bad theres no AX machine in site or I could make this a lot easier on myself. Damn you Jody, you're not worth saving. Diamond Cup is such a rush. That is all.

Advance Wars DS- Best strategy game ever? I think so. I love the stylus as I think that it makes the game just feel more natural and I'm a fan of pretty much everything they've added to the formula.

Nintendogs Lab and Friends- I love this because I can put in just a few minutes a day and get everything I need to do finished...and because of this it really hasn't gotten old yet. Trying to get some of those rare 'present' items as well as getting Indiana to master all of the events.

    P.N.0.3- I love this game.

FORZA Motorsport- Been playing this one since launch and it just hasn't gotten old yet. I almost have everything...maxed out too. I'm one of those people that feel as if Microsoft beat Polyphony at their own game.

Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders- Waiting on Heroes to come out! God I love this game.

"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."

  2. Nintendogs -- Up to about 3500 trainer points, hoping to win the Disc Dog Championship soon (I finished the second highest class in first).

Meteos -- When I got the game, I put about 15 hours onto it the first weekend. Unlocked a bunch of stuff and then my save file corrupted. Stopped playing after that, but I've gotten back into it recently. Brilliant, brilliant video game. My favorite this year so far.

Genji -- The art in this game is fantastic. Just gorgeous stuff. Unfortunately, the combat is pretty shallow but I'm still having fun with it. The game is short I hear, which is good because it could easily get repetitive if it dragged on too long.

Jump Superstars -- Actually just finished completing all the missions and fulfilling all the goals. I think that means I unlocked all of the cards (I have 600+). The game is really fun, but unless I find someone else that likes the game I likely won't play it much again. There needs to be a quick Arcade mode-style tournament (like in Street Fighter) to shoot for high scores and whatnot.

  3. Playing through Half-Life: Blue Shift for the first time. Not nearly as good as HL or Opposing Force, but it's feels good to visit the old 'Mesa again.

    Other than that, mainly:

    With the occasional:

    And next week:
Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  4. Namco Museum Battle Collection

  5. Dug out my Dreamcast and an arcade-cabinet size controller and played Cannon Spike.
    nocturne:
"I view terrorists as freedom fighters."

  6. i dug out Ogre Battle 64 since nearly everything else is in storage. After 7 hours, it's the most interesting of the series. I still don't feel like i know exactly what i'm doing, but unlike the tactics titles and the original i don't have to force myself to go back to it.
Mischief Makers is also getting some healthy play. Besides the graphics, which were never impressive, it's aged really well. The level design is great and Marina's a joy to control. A little more polish would push this one into the greats. Bigger levels and more varied enemy design would be a start.

Namco Battle Collection, too. Dig Dug II is fun.

  7. Ridge Racer 6, there's like me and two other guys online. Both hosting one track each that they have perfected so all I get is second place. When I finaly get a game with six players the fucking thing freezes on me.

  8. I'm working on Castlevania: DS (stuck at 51%), and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.

  9. Im playing Wild Arms 4 right now. I'm about 17 hours in, and this game keeps surprising me with every new area I get too. This is really an amazingly fun RPG (right up there with Shadow Hearts for me), but I am going to have to finish it before Grandia 3 and Tales of Legendia come out.

  10. Battlefield 2. Been playing this a lot with weeman as of late, and the expantions coming out shortly have gotten me all excited to keep on playing.
