heh when the last modder dies/goes on to oblivion modding morrowind goes in cycles, you play till the little flaws bug you too much, then you quit till something gets you to put the disc back in, then you play again for a while. Morrowind was my bad game pallet cleansing game, if i played a sucky game, then i put in morrowind and the world was beautiful again.

Just finished Riddick on the PC. Liked it more than the Xbox playthrough.
Playing Serious Sam Gold off and on, the sequel should be awesome.
Trying to get into Morrowind for the third time. I really should start with a Barbarian or something that doesn't suck at fighting.
Max Payne Kung Fu, for the hell of it. There really should be a Max Payne 2 Kung Fu mod that doesn't suck.

Briefly playing Halo 2 and IIDX, lately. Considering playing Panzer Dragoon Orta or Psychonauts, kinda.

I'm going to be buying Psychonauts very soon, and I'll be playing Elder Scrolls Morrowind to round everything out. Also World of Warcraft, but my spare time nowadays is focused on bettering myself as an artist (form, perspective, landscape, figure, anatomy, etc.) so I can't put enough time in to that game.

Once I get full time employement (in like... a week and a half) I'll have even less time (and way more money).

Yeah, I was pretty pissed when I first used bullet time. Other than that I think the game is a slight improvement over the original. The story might be worse but I don't really pay much attention to it.

I dont know how you can NOT pay attention to the story. Its crucial to the game and cinema.

Anyway, done with chapter 2. The story isnt that great. The love story stuff is okay, but still kinda out there - Max says he dreamt he killed his wife for Mona, but that makes no sense in the framework of the story (i know he's hot for her, but thats taking it too far, even for overwrought MP dialogue). The rest of it is a jumbled mess of Illuminati-wannabes and cleaning people and whatever that isnt interesting. Its clear the writers didnt care a single bit about all of that. Whereas the whole thing with that drug, and the addicts, and shit like that - it was really well done in the original.

And the gunplay is mildly inferior to the original thanks to the reworked bullet time.

Ill finish the game (its probably only like 2 more hours left) but I have to say this game is mildly dissapointing.

I'm playing Amplitude and Tony Hawk Underground 2. I'm never going to be able to beat insane mode in amplitude, my fingers simply aren't fast enough. As for THUG2 I'm messing around with the create a goal, creating a very difficult set of no manual goals for ever level.

I've just been playing Psychonauts and Killer 7 very slowly, but I'm really enjoying them both. I'm surprised how polished Psychonauts is, I wasn't so sure a newly assembled (if experienced) developer could make such an all-around great game. The camp hub is really fantastic.

I also just beat Sam and Max and Day of the Tentacle for kicks a couple weeks ago.

You are on crack. Go back and play the original. . it's practically unbearable how slow and unresponsive it is compared to Max Payne 2 -- especially the bullet time.
