A lot of stuff the Bible decrees as bad isn't necessarily a sin, or evil. Its the behavior. Drinking isnt necessarilly evil but addiction and neglecting your family to get drunk is. Sex isnt necessarily evil but blind lust causes affairs and tears apart families and lives. Money is not the root of all evil, but the love of it is. Etc.
