The funnier thing about them is that they'll completely go nuts over Zelda's gameplay stagnancy and then turn around an punch a hooker for 3 games straight in the GTA series while claiming it's the rebirth of the franchise. I love both, but they both just change themes and add new bells on.

The problem is what each game relies on. It doesn't matter if Zelda rehashes the same mechanics over and over as long as the content changes once in a while, but often, it doesn't. Many of the puzzles were ripped straight out of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and since the entire point of a puzzle is supposed to be figuring out how to solve it, a recycled puzzle doesn't work nearly as well as recycled mechanics do.

If Twilight Princess changes game progression and puzzle solutions a bit, it'll be much, much more worthwhile than Wind Waker was.

With only one "generation" of backwards compatablity a lot of people are getting spoiled. Just keep your systems around if you want to play the old shit. Just put it away in a closet or something when you don't use it. And "oh no I have to buy new controllers"...just like the same in like 4 generations past. I know I'm in the minority on this, but I'm happy Sony making a new controller. I hate the fucking sticks on the dual shock. And the dpad is pretty "meh" too.

Are you serious? It's the best D-pad on the market right now. The only time I thought a d-pad was better, was the remodeled Saturn controllers.
