BTW, does anyone know the best way to make dvds from laserdisk?

The only way is through capture, as laserdiscs are not a digital format. They're completely analog. So you'd have to recorded it and capture and compress it.

still got an LD player, and a ton of the LD's lying around in the living room. the Star Wars Trilogy is definitely awesome, and i've even got the Phantom Menace on LD, too.
