Thread: J Allard chat transcript

  1. They've pissed away all the advantages they had over Sony this gen; unless it ever gets some exclusive I just have to have (PROTIP: Halo sure as fuck won't do it, so don't bother bringing it up), I don't plan on getting one, ever.

  2. Damn MVS...you're pretty good at BF2, and far along.

I'll be getting one right away. I know that I'll want Halo 3, so there's no sense in delaying the inevitable. I'll probably pass on both PS3 and Revolution, assuming Nintendo doesn't do something crazy like release at $149.

  3. I'll buy whichever system gets modded first.

Yeah. Comparing a marketing puppet to an artist is always valid.

  5. Miyamoto wears both hats so don't even play yourself.

Yes, he does. Allard only wears a dunce cap. Comparing the two is laughable. One is responsible for changing the industry. The other has done nothing but hype a second place is the first loser console.

Well shuck my darn and call me a goober! Guess I gotta get me some of that Wally World action going. Hyuck!

Not to mention Halo 2 is, hands down, their best selling game of all time. So why wouldn't you want to cater to people who are making your games the most money? It almost seems like a kick in the stomach.

  8. If the hardcore community wants removable HDs, and the $400 version is aimed at the hardcore gamers, then that means the $400 version has a removeable HD?

I've never played a console game online, and only played a little PC gaming online (Baldur's Gate and Tribes). Even if I knew I would never go on Live, the prices make the $300 system a ripoff.

Not being a nerd here, I just want to know what games you're playing. Every game I play multiplayer has options, unlockables, hidden characters, etc, etc, therefore a save is required. If you mean sports games, I know that there are stats that are saved as well as rosters... and also, unlockables. So really, what are you playing?
