I think I'm just gonna steal one.
I'll get one eventually but getting one at launch just seems like a bad investment. There will be plenty to play this holiday season on systems that cost a lot less than $400.

Well that's like, your opinion, man.
I'll get one when Oblivion comes out.
ill get one when the price plunges, maybe. im getting the revolution, and im getting oblivion for pc because no matter what, the mod community will make the pc version the winner, there isnt really even serious debate on that topic. plus, bethesda has stated that oblivion is going to run on a broader spectrum of configurations than morrowind did, implying that while i would have to upgrade for all the bells and whistles, they are making this one with a more realistic view of the pc gaming market in mind, so i can have most of my game without dropping 400 bones and sacrificing the modding community that made morrowind last 3 years for me in the first place.

Why would Microsoft allow that? Allowing people Creating free, uncontrolled content? On their platform? No chance in hell. They want people to use micropayments to pay for tiny bits of approved content. The only people that come out ahead with mods are the users, and no one gives a shit about them.Originally Posted by arjue
I was interested in an Xbox 360, but not anymore, after seeing the games and the pricing. The industry needs to show it is capable of producing more than sports games, WW2 sims, and random action games with a 'gritty urban' feel to them before I even bother anymore.

thus far, no, the devs have stated they werent including it in the 360 version, they could change their mind, but it has been a fairly consistant "no" so far.Originally Posted by arjue

I'm waiting for a 360 price drop. There are lots of games on the current gen systems that I'm going to be getting, I'm about to purchase a DS which is going to only increase the number of good games I'll need to get. I'm in no hurry to get to the next gen yet. I'll more than likely buy the PS3 at launch just because they typically have more of what I like. I paid $299 for my PS2, $110 and $150 for my xboxes, and $70 for my GCN, so it will probably be the same order this gen company wise anyway, but Nintendo may be my second purchase, it really all just depends on what games go where.
I'm leaning more on the PS3 myself then get a Revolution. If the PS3 doesn't have a game seriously worth buying it at launch then I"ll just get me a Revolution and call it a year.
