Blue Storm is the best representation of the sport that I've ever played.
That is crazy talk.
Blue Storm (despite being not as good as Wave Race 64) is still an amazing game with tons of depth and playability.
I put a pox on you for saying otherwise.

I'd say for our purposes, if a game is exclusive to one console in the US it's exclusive. Also, I'd still consider a game like Viewtiful Joe or Monkey Ball exclusive since they were exclusive for a long time and are still superior on the console they originated on.
Jungle Beat is definately a must have, Beach Spikers was also an amazing game that flew under the radar. Animal Crossing definately belongs on the list too. Mario Baseball is only a day old but I've been playing it at kiosks for weeks and it's an incredibly fun pick up and play baseball game that will see tons of play for many years to come.
Ultimate Muscle always looked cool (Like No Mercy on amphetamines) but I never got to play it, is the general opinion that it's a good game? DoR2 looks quality but I haven't seriously played a wrestling game since No Mercy (I don't watch wrestling so the only motivation for me to play a wrestling game is if it's fun, got a great CAW mode, multiplayer, etc.).
I liked UM, although damn is it ever bare bones. Part of NM's play style is there, as are the animations. Well worth the $10 it goes for. I rented it when it came out, and just need to find it in a store to buy it.

I really like the remakes of Bonk's Adventure and Star Soldier. Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is one of the best platform games ever but gets little respect.
Two of my friends got it during the summer, and though I was skeptical of the concept, playing it was insanely addictive. I really need to get my own copy, now that I brought my GC back up here for RE4 and Killer 7 purposes. Probably the most fun Nintendo game I've played in a long time.Originally Posted by Kinopio
Regarding Blue Storm; ok, ok! I'll try harder. Perhaps if I play it with a friend... I just tend to dislike games with no 60hz option, so from what I understand the PAL version runs 17% slower than the US version and it does indeed seem a little sluggish.

Don't buy a game that has no 60Hz option. It's not good enough; and paying for such games is like saying that you like your games unplayably slow and you'll accept any old shit product.
And I have yet to see a convincing review of Jungle Beat. And I'm not buying bongos just on the say-so of the people on this board because phrases like:
are very ambiguous. Beware of that word "fun". To me it means "another mediocre waste of money but I'd rather not say so."Probably the most fun Nintendo game I've played in a long time.
Edit: I'd like if I was proved wrong about that bongo game, but I doubt I will be.

Nah, Jungle Beat is a good game. The only thing I could really see that's wrong with it is that it's kind of short. It does have a lot replay value though.Originally Posted by Mikey
I was thinking of getting that Jungle Beat game. I only used my bongos for two days around x-mas, as the music selection wasn't to my liking. The 'Turkish Waltz' or whatever was fun though. I wish they had included more classical music.
I know and I never do, but I expected this license to be big enough for Nintendo to care about it. I don't suppose I could force 60hz via the import bootdisk, or is this crazy talk?Originally Posted by Mikey
Ikaruga is also out in PAL-Land. Also, how is it an exclusive?Originally Posted by Yoshi
