Not getting the 360 at launch, there's no launch titles that really justify me paying full price for the hd pack (except oblivion and that'll be PC too likely.)
SFAC stick it is.
Then you have two options.Originally Posted by MarsKitten
1) Get the SFAC stick, since that's the only good Xbox arcade stick that is LIVE compatible.
2) If you're getting the Xbox 360, you may want to hold off on getting the SFAC stick since it won't be officially supported by the 360. Assuming King of Fighters 2002/2003 is backwards compatible with the 360, you could get Tecmo's Dead of Alive 4 joystick, since that will be compatible with 360 LIVE.

Cool, because I just picked this up today![]()
Let's see, we have Clash!, Destro777, Fighter-X, Vasteel, Changeling, me, and now you who have this game. We just need one more TNL guy and we can set up an 8-man TNL KoF 2003 tournament.Originally Posted by Thief~Silver

You online right now? I'm up for a match or two before Futurama.
Well I need to work on my characters that's for sure, not positive what happened looks like I lagged out or you lagged out on the last match. But I figured that was some diety saying for me to finish hah.

Ok, been playing 2k3 a lot today (no love for 2k2 at the moment)
Some things:
1) First time I've been able to play through a fighter on the average difficulty without continues, the bosses in this game are just not the rapists they are in every other Fighting game.
2) Yeah, supers are real easy to pull off, a little too easy almost becuase I constantly accidently do them at times where I didn't mean to, usually with Mary.
My team is Marin (malin?) Mary and Iori (Or some other character). I find it cool that Iori's super that stuns a person, you can switch to another character to finish up with that.
And I wanna play someone tonight, hopefully now that I've relearned move lists it'll be a little better.
I'll work with 2k2 later probably, right now 2k3 is just easier to get into.
I miss having Angel and Kula, but I guess I can live heh. I wanna see some combo video's of this game.

I noticed that it was considerably easier to pull off supers in 2003 than in 2002 when I first started playing both of them. I'm not sure if that was always the case, or if SNK added a little more leeway to compensate for online play. Nonetheless, I'm happy with this control decision.Originally Posted by Thief~Silver

I'm done with 2002. Online play sucks and it's a lot slower than 2003. 2003, all the way.Originally Posted by Thief~Silver
You'll be able to play as Kula and Angel in KoF: Neowave, which comes out in February. It's pretty much a better version of KoF 2002 from what I've been reading. And Kula is back in the KoF roster in KoF XI (but that won't be out on consoles until late 2006).Originally Posted by Thief~Silver
As for combo vids, I've been looking around as well and haven't found any yet.

I'm sure you can make some interesting combo's with Malin's yoyo toss, just haven't figured them out heh.
And it is DEFINATELY harder to do supers in 2k2, I can't even do two Quarter circle forwards in order to do Kula's easiest super.
