How old are you? I'm guessing under 25. I'm not taking a shot. I think there could definitely be a correlation here.

The EGM guys that reviewed it are all probably over 25.

I find the inconsistency of the UG&G review scores odd though. I don't really care if a game is difficult or not as long as it's well designed. Maybe the game has some really cheap and annoying parts. I'm not going to bash EGM on this topic until I have played it.

Good point. I needed a question in there about the Special Olympics as well.

I'm 27. I'm not really bashing the game because it's hard. I just don't like it that much. I wasn't looking at this game as the second coming like a lot of people here though. To me the game is in the 6-7 range. It's okay, but I'd rather be playing something else. If you're a huge fan of the old games, you'll probably love it though. I'm sure a lot of people here will feel the game deserves a 9-10 score. Like I said earlier, this game is not for me.

That's not good. I'm not a huge GnG fan. The series couldn't shine Castlevania's shoes, but I am still disappointed to hear that someone with similar perspective considers it a 6-7. $40 for a 6-7 portable would be tough to swallow.

  8. Well, I've never really been a fan of the series, so take that into consideration when I say I don't like it that much. I enjoyed playing GnG in the arcade back in the day, but that's really the only enjoyment I ever got out of the series. I owned the SNES version, but I never really played it that much.

Ah, ok. Thanks for clarifying. I like it more than that. I've even bought the SuperGrafx Daimakaimura twice.

"It's a good game and, once you get the patterns down, you can manhandle the levels (yes, even the annoying ghosts on stage 1-1) but this game will sell exactly zero copies. Why? It is way, WAY too hard for the current generation of gamers. Worried about not getting another for 10 years? How about worried about not getting another one...ever?
