I heard on the TV about the people shooting at the various helicopters. Those people need to be found and have the crap beaten out of them. I mean, really... while I don't agree with the looting, I can understand. But shooting at rescue helicopters?

I would go as far and venture to say (generalization), the many of people who stayed behind in New Orleans were either:

A.) Poor
B.) Stupid/Stubborn
C.) Criminals
D.) Elderly
E.) Combinations of the Above

With the exceptions of the Elderly what should we expect from poor, stupid, or criminally minded people?

This news is very much true. Other than a few select torrest areas, and shipping distrubition cities, the south is dirt poor compared to the rest of the country.

My state alone is 60% unemployed. God knows what the % is on being stupid.

Considering just how southern NO is, I'm not shocked at all in regards to how these people are acting.
