I can't disagree with this more. The PSPs buttons are too big and too far apart to use at the same time. I noticed this when playing SNES games like teh Mario Kart. I've got big hands but I still like the buttons closer and smaller.

I don't find the battery life (PSP) to be prohibitive of using it when I want to, either.

When I first bought my PSP I charged the battery to full (for over three hours), put my volume at halfway, and set the light on medium, then played Wipeout till the battery died, just to see how long it would last. 2:42 later it died. That's not acceptable to me, but to each his own.

Different games are different. It all depends on how much data is being transfered and how much battery it needs to read the disc. Play wipeout with a full battery will differ from playing GT4 or GTA3 or any game that requires alot of reading of the disk.

Yes. Right now, games are currently running at 222mhz. GT4 is supposed to run at 333mhz due to all that graphics. Since its using more power to run and more times to read the UMD, it uses more battery thus lowering play time. There was a rumor that Sony was releasing a new battery pack. That I'm not sure. There are numerous external battery packs that adds an additional 6-12 hours.

The PSP will last forever playing an emulator and a really long time watching a ripped video if the quality is kind of grainy (like MST3K)
