Thread: NFL Discussion

  1. I've basically picked Vikings to win every week and this week I don't pick them to win and they're playing like fucking monsters on defense and special teams.

  2. Detroit won...yay.

    Giants vs Minnesota...wtf.

    Suddenly...Chicago is a beast???

    Green Bay beats Atlanta?

Very strange day in the NFL.

  3. The one week I don't pick the Vikings to win they win. Although I'm pissed for not picking the Vikings, I can't be too mad since they won.

Last night I told my sister's boyfriend I'd pick the Bills to beat the Chiefs but then I picked the Chiefs (the Bills are his favorite team). That's 2 picks I should've had right there but I didn't pick for some reason.

  4. Anyone can look like a beast against the 49ers if they have any kind of defence at all.

What a beautiful week. The 49ers, Redskins, and Giants all lose on Sunday, and then McNabb reminds us what a fraud he is when he is asked to actually throw the ball beyond the line a scrimmage. Philly's done. The window of opportunity for them to win has cloed.

Hard decision to make for the Colts @ the Bengals. I've gone on record as saying that the losses for the Colts would be at Cincinnati and at Seattle this year, but with the way the offense is playing right now I think the Colts can win this Sunday over a still-young Bengals team that has had to think about this game for two weeks now.

As much as I genuinely enjoy seeing Dallas lose, I was quite happy that they pulled that hat trick on Monday Night because Philly is basically out of the playoff running now (barring three divisional teams collapsing and Philly kicking ass for the rest of the season)... I did not want to see the godamned Eagles in the NFC championship game again. And I felt bad for Parcells somewhat, dude was having a rough day with the funeral and all, good for his team to get a win for him.

Oddly enough, Dallas pulled off the same thing last season in a Monday night game, 14 points in the last 2 minutes . But yeah, that game was Phillies season, and what probably makes it worse is that Terrell Owens was laughing it up in between his phone calls to Al Davis as he prepares to move to the only place that will gladly take him. Die Philly die!!!

  9. I went 10-4 last week. I should've gone 12-2 because I picked Vikings every week and for some reason I didn't pick them last week and the night before Sunday last week I told my sister's boyfriend I'd pick the Bills (his favorite team) but then when I got home I didn't pick them.

IDBTN. Seattle is playing well, but they will blow it in the playoffs. The NFC representative will be either Dallas or Carolina. I would also give the Giants a better chance of making it than Seattle.
