I doubt Miramax will be releasing this now, and Smith is going back to the Jay and Silent Bob well thanks to Jersey Girl bombing. He said he was done with J&SB, and that "their" movie was the final one, but like I said, Jersey Girl bombed, so he's going to what he thinks will continue to make him money. I haven't heard about Green Hornet in a LONG time, it's definite that he's not directing it, but I dunno if they're even using his script anymore. The Weinsteins left Miramax, so his ass kissing will move to their new company. There's also supposed to be a Clerks animated movie coming out.

That was quite a few years ago. He has the ability to do well, and I still enjoy his work, but it's just not what it could be. And I think a lot of that is due to his insecurity in himself.

Actually, I'm not much of a Smith fan to begin with. Clerks was good but otherwise he's really hit or miss. Mostly miss.

What really sucks about J&SBSB is that Smith just took the story he wrote in the comic Chasing Dogma (which detailed J&SB's exploits between Chasing Amy & Dogma) and made it suck. So he not only took the lazy route, but he also really screwed up his own continuity in the process.
