Kevin Smith making bad movies is bad.
That he keeps going back to the well over and over is bad and pathetic.

He'll make it profitable and his fans will probably enjoy it.

I can't wait to see what he comes up with. But I've liked most of his movies (other than Cop Out and Jersey Girl).

Cop Out would have almost been tolerable if not for Tracy Morgan. He is the worst. I don't see a need for Clerks 3 at all. 2 was decent and ended just right IMO.

You try to make sound like your opinion matters. Much like mine, it doesn't mean shit. Whether you go see the the movie (or anything Kevin Smith does) makes absolutely no difference in what he does.

Cop Out would have almost been tolerable if not for Tracy Morgan. He is the worst.

Tracy Morgan was the only thing I liked about the movie. You could really tell Bruce Willis was only there for the paycheck. Smith even talked about how he had no control over what Willis was doing and that he'd flat out refuse to take direction.

The movie was a perfect example that Smith and "big budget/mass appeal" should go nowhere near each other. He needs to stick to pissing off the SSJN's of the world and making low budget flicks for his fans.

Kevin Smith is awful. Thing is, his fans love him for it.

He only pisses me off because early on he displayed a germ of genius.
Then instead of actually developing it into something more, he was more than happy to milk the shit out of it while we idiots ate it up.
The turning point for me was listening to a commentary and he was laughing at how he never moves a camera or does anything a professional director should be doing.
Don't get me started on that 22 minute commercial for the Secret Stash that AMC is airing.

He knew the only way to make the stores profitable without covering it himself was to have those AMC dollars rolling in.

It's awful, but so is all reality TV.

I actually like the "four guys talking about shit" and the occasional odd trade in format.
It's the forced, unfunny skits (which also ruined Pawn Stars imo) that killed it for me.
