Turns out Blitzwing has a factory assembly error. His biceps are switched. Just pop his arms off below the bicep swivel, pop the arms back on to the opposite sockets, and then switch his forearms (one screw, no glue).

If the biceps are correct, you will see the ball joint "vent" on the outside as show here:




Robot mode gets a little more clearance between the arms and the folded down wings after the swap.

Jet mode lines up much nicer. Of note, the flaps near the tail now line up vertically with top of the plane, and the front of the jet now sits flush on top of the wings.






And as you can see, the look of 'bot mode is not hurt.

Dragstrip has joined the other Universe SEs on HTS. Also, it seems we'll be seeing a two-pack of Jetfire and Jetstorm in the Animated line, possibly bundled with a DVD, though no pics have yet surfaced.

When is he due out?

November according to BBTS. (Along with Cheetor, Hound and Cyclonus. Also, looks like Silverstreak, Sideswipe and Ironhide should start showing up any day now.)

Yep yep! I actually picked up Acid Storm (against my earlier comments) and he's not that bad. I like him better than Galvatron, even though that's not saying much.

I pre-ordered Cheetor/Hound/Cyclonus/Scream/Silverstreak/Sideswipe from the Universe line. I missed the Ironhide and Inferno pre-order, but I'll find them in stores in time, hopefully.

I pre-ordered Swindle/Blurr/Blazing Lockdown/Bumblebee from the Universe line. Bumblebee will be given away to some lucky kid because I already have him. I missed the Longarm/Shockwave pre-order.

Hasbro is doing a LOT better with the distribution quantities this time. A LOT better. I walked into TRU yesterday and saw Titanium Prowl and Grimlock (passed on both, though Grimlock looks pretty awesome admittedly), Acid Storm (got him), Quickmix/Blaster/Unicron and a shitload of figs from the animated line.
