So as I said in the movie thread, my local Walmart had a few of the 20th Anniversary Prime left, marked down to $45. Picked one up yesterday, got it home... and it's defective. The left leg won't collapse and the foot keeps popping off. So I take it back today, get another, get it home... EXACT SAME FUCKING DEFECTS. Are these defects common, or do I just have shitty luck? Should I even try again, or just get my money back and have done with it?

The foot popping off is widespread. However, I popped it back on and even though it can stilll come off, Prime has been standing on on desk for over 2 years now and he's not fallen because of it.
Now, the left leg not collapsing, I don't know about.

I've got two standing in the other room. The first one I got had the foot issue, but it just popped off when I was trying to transform it and easily snapped back into place. No problems with the other one, but I haven't really messed with it much.

That's not the anniversary Prime...that's the Hybrid Prime...that thing is like 4 inches tall.

Also was severly tempted by a Masterpiece Ultra Magnus and a Predacon set reissue that was in stock. But they were each over $100.
I may go back and get the Predacons though... that was the most tempting.

About $20 at current exchange rates. So not too expensive, and it's a pretty cool toy actually.
