    Mine doesn't have those problems, but on mine the entire right leg likes to come off of it's joint sometimes. It's damn annoying, but I'm not about to pop down another $70 to get another one.

    Jesus christ, that's a massive ripoff.

    I'm not sure what shipping would be on them. Shipping a game to the US is about $10-15, but these are a bit bigger then a game. I'd venture to guess shipping on the set would be around $25-30. So I could probably do the set for $65-70 depending on how much the shipping ends up being. I'll have to double check and see how many they have left too. I'm pretty sure they had at least one more set worth.

    Did you guys get the newly recently-issued mostly plastic Primes? I happened to see the plastic Primes in Books-A-Million today, and they looked terribly cheap compared to the die-cast versions.

  5. It was the "20th Anniversary DVD Edition" version. I thought the paint job was the only difference though. If they're using plastic for parts the designer intended to be die-cast, it doesn't surprise me there are problems.

    Please. I bought Classics Prime on clearance at Target a few weeks ago and he looks great in robot form. The truck... not so much, though.

    I have to sincerely offer you guys my humble thanks on this one. I hadn't been paying attention to Transformers toys at all due to the years and years of crap - checking out the movie line was a pure whim - and so the shockingly good RID Classics line had indeed flown under my radar. I'd hate to have missed out on these things; they really ARE the classics from my childhood taken to the next level. It's been quite a struggle rounding them up before they're phased out completely.

    Unfortunately I did get a bit carried away and tossed $20 on the Prime v Megs box... wtf, these don't even feel like they belong in this otherwise great line.

  8. No prob Lord P. I just figured you never read the TF:Cybertron thread. This place has been nothing, but eye opening. Just wanted to let you know in the movie thread. Theres a huge convo about these toys, and any and all current TF's too.

  9. My folks came to visit today, and I'd had my dad pick up Classics Jetfire for me back home, since it's already disappeared here... OMG I'm in love. It looks straight out of the 80s (moreso than any of the other Classics, even - there's detail out the wazoo, and the "normal" vehicle mode looks like a real jet, while the three other modes(!) call to mind the mecha anime of the time), but with the far superior articulation you'd expect from something made in the last year.
