Thread: Senko no Ronde Coming for Xbox 360

  1. While I'm not the type to still hope that a certain new game will also get a DC release, there is indeed still a market for DC games in Japan.

G.Rev have a completely different rep to Triangle Service. Bad comparison.

Lauch title or not its destined to be ignored due to the 360's type of user and unfair comparison with the other 360 titles of which are not based from ports of older hardware.

Its reputed that a very high proportion of Borderdown's sales 2k+ were thanks to importers and largely ncsx funding the print run through guaranteed orders, G.Rev's software has mass appeal.

Especially on a console thats incredibly easy to play imports with.

The Xbox shmups weren't so don't count on it.

Yep, People who like identikit first person shooters and boring war simulations won't like it.

There is not. Despite what Western DC fanboys want you to believe.

"Rep"? Two small devs who have made two niche games each, "rep"? Think twice.

There's not an established "360's type of user", even if you keep on persisting. There are lots of games announced for it of different genres, 2D included. There're even two real shooting games announced, one from Treasure and another one from Moss.

    That was funny. Thanks.

I know but if the 360 makes a bigger splash then who knows what will happen.

It isn't as big as it was a year or so ago, when even after the DC's "death" there was still a pretty long list of upcoming titles, but I think it is there. Maybe not for every kind of game, but for some titles.

And yeah, I'm still a huge DC fanboy - that's why I'm organizing my collection to sell most of it off.

You, of all people, should realize how it'd be stupid to let go of free shit.

But nope. All the unreleased games for the system (just two, actually) were canceled this summer. It's official. RIP.

He's lying. It's at my house. Has been for months.

  9. Let's bump this thread, and kill/merge the new one.

  10. According to Edge magazine the 360 version of this is going to be the revised and re-balanced arcade version and will have improved mech models and stuff like that, being on a more poweful system.
