Why would I be kidding? They've proven they can make a damn good... no, the best damn atmospheric horror-themed 3D action game. If CV on consoles has to be 3D, and Konami corporate has made it pretty clear it does, then I want it given to someone who can do it right. IGA's batting 0 for 2 in the 3D action department, and it looks very likely that it's about to become 0 for 3.

I have no problem with him continuing the portable games and maybe even overseeing the story development on consoles, though.

Um, last I checked Iga only made 1 3D CV game. As far as RE 4 goes, I think RE 1 had better atmosphere than 4 did, but I'm sure I'm in the minority there. I found RE 4 to be over hyped by a large margin. It was decent, but it wasn't anywhere near great.

RE4 is the pinnacle of its genre, slugger. You can compare games relative to their peers.

You are of course entitled to an unpopular opinion on the subjective enjoyability of the game, but this reads more like a statement on its technical merits. If that's what it is, there's nothing to say but "you're very wrong."

Graphically it was a techinal monster. It really is a beautiful game. The gameplay wasn't really much different than previous games. The static camera was gone and the QTE were there, but besides that, it played just like all the rest. Was it fun? Sure it was fun, but I don't think that makes it great.
