I'm just sick of seeing long time board members getting kicked out for reasons that don't amount to anything.

I agree completely with the sentiment. TNL doesn't have a main page to bring in new, worthwhile posters and the mods big solution to this is to ban ones that keep the boards active. Obviously this was a mistake and has been rectified, but in general I think some loosening needs to happen.

Can somebody explain what the fuck was going on btw? I'm a little late to the party and even still a bit slow on my own merits.

Mike reported this and the admins there deleted the thread I guess.

Kano decided to play a joke by acting like maruchan was a spy for doc and banning him. This was a poor judgement joke on Kano and it ruffled a few feathers (With reason. I would hope this could all be let go, but I would hope/think that Kano would apologize to Maru) granted I think his intention was for Mzo who came in clueless for a bit, to unban him as soon as he linked.
