A little off topic, but I think I have the same TV. Sucker is built like a tank. It weighs a ton when I move, but it could probably take a artillary shell and still work.

There's nothing about the collection that I can say that hasn't already been said and re-said, but it's damn impressive and I wouldn't envy anyone the task of rounding up every last US released PS1 game.

I looked through your pictures again and saw the GBA display. Nice. I used to use mine as a desk lamp.

I bet my 27" RGB can touch it.

Why would you want all the US PS1 games. Some horrible, horrible shit got released.

granted he downloaded all of them but i remember fondly of how EThugg would tell me about his quest to have every Xbox game ever made. he was like a school girl the day he got Shrek, even though it was trash. he'd pop online and say something like "whats up bud......almost finished downloading *shitty xbox game*. it's the last one i need for all the current releases". and then disappear for a week or so.

It kinda just happened. Before she moved to NJ, we would regularly meet up in equidistant places to hang out, do stuff, go shopping. After our Cleveland trip, she came home with 30-40 PS1 games and she said 'I guess I'm collecting for PS1 now' followed by a 'Waaaa, I don't want to'. She wants to collect for it... but doesn't. She's still in the phase of getting games she wants to play, so it hasn't been too, too painful. Most of the PS1 games in the pics are hers... I added maybe 20-30 maximum of what's there.

My old manager at Babbages would buy each DC game as it came out. All of them, regardless of how shitty. I thought he was crazy. When you're buying crap like the Barbie PS1 games, or Blasto or whatever just because you have to have it I think its seriously time to find another hobby.

It is possible to take things too far.

I'm happy because I still have every PS1 and DC game I want... the good ones.

THINK OF HOW MANY ARMY MEN GAMES YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BUY. WTF!

  9. I love buying ps1 games, they're only $5 or so off ebay so it doesn't matter if they're shit. I probably buy somewhere between 3 and 10 a month. I really want to get my hands on Bubble Bobble/Rainbow Islands atm.

  10. Once I get Qix Neo and and Robo-Pit 2, I'll probably be able to put my PS1 game buying to bed.
