This Month's Haul - October 2005

Fair warning: That shit will not fly at higher difficulty levels. Enemies will block it (or just hit you out of the attacks straight-up), and then you will get owned. Hell, even against a lot of the bosses that it worked on in the original Ninja Gaiden (Doku, Alma, etc.), it almost never works now in Black, even on normal.

That's been my primary tactic in NGB on Hard. Maybe on Very Hard or Master it falls apart but it works awesome at least up through a good portion of Hard (I stopped about halfway through when I got distracted by Castlevania stuff).

Got um Phantom Dust and Kingdom Under Fire 1.

Phantom Dust is a hoot, I love the destructible environments. KUF on the other hand I'm still on the fence about, I played a few missions and liked it so far but I'm wondering if I'll have the time for it when the big October/November releases hit.

At least with Phantom Dust the missions can't last longer than 15 minutes each so I have something to chew through for a bit.
