I was expecting them to be $30 tops, but given the time crunch I had, I couldn't comparison shop, and $40 wasn't too much higher than I was expecting.
I find VCRs in stores that go for $25 new. $40 at this point in time is just absurd.

Sure if you want a 2 head VCR. I wouldn't buy a VCR that didn't have at least 4 heads and stereo output.Originally Posted by Raz0r

Damn, I have like 2 VCRs sitting in the closet just gathering dust. Next time you need one hit me up with a PM. I will send you one for cost of shipping. The pawn shop was only going to give me like ten dollars.Originally Posted by Jeremy

I'll take you up on that if I ever need another spare one, or if a friend needs one. Thanks. Gamevet, this new one is like that, I wouldn't have gotten a lesser one, since these kinds have always worked well for me. The one that died out was a good ten+ years old, so it was just a matter of time until I needed to replace it.
Edit for 10/26 - I got Lupin the Third Volume 12: the Flying Sword yesterday, and today, I picked up a PS2 network adapter, teal Nintendogs DS bundle, and some screen protectors. I was hoping to get the Hori ones, but these will work if I'm unable to get the Hori ones for whatever reason.

I mostly got the same stuff a lot of others did in October -
Shadow of the Colossus
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Capcom Classics Collection
Syberia
I'm back! No one missed me.
The iPod mini I bought from my friend had a fucked battery (couldn't hold a charge longer then two hours) so I gave it back to her and told her to go fix it. She took it up to an Apple store and they replaced it with a new one, which means I just got one hell of an awesome deal.
I also scored a job, which means my reign of tons o' fun sitting on my ass is over.
In an almost-haul moment, a friend and I went to an auto auction just to see what was passing through and for what prices (thinking about buying some and then reselling for profit) and we almost bought a slightly smoking Lumina that went for $50. At that price we were tempted just so that we could take it somewhere and then do something stupid with it like shoot the hell out of it. Either that or start building a car Voltron in my yard.
I missed you. Actually, i'm just interested in Code Age Commanders. Make a thread or something. I would but i have nothing to say besides, BWAR, I LIKE YUSUKE NAORA'S ART AND IT'S AWESOME HE DOING DE COMIC TOO.
