If that ad were Jesus holding a dualshock there wouldn't be nearly as much fuss, the ad is offensive to Christians because it's directly mocking the suffering of Jesus Christ.

It's like the difference between showing a Rabbi holding a dual shock and showing a Rabbi happily jumping into a German oven because the oven has a dual shock in it.

Tis what I agree with. This type of thing has been done before using many different mediums and platforms. Christians are always the first to find something offensive, but over look things when it comes to other religions etc.

Remember this guys. Now next time something similar happens don't be surprised when any other religions get mad when they see something in a video game they don't like.
