The impression I am getting from the weekly updates is that it will be pretty damn functional. It seems like the matchmaking is already in working order, and apparently they have halted work on new Halo 2 playlists so that they can work on solidifying playlists for Halo 3, and most likely the beta.

Personally I'm just looking for a functional version of the game with most of the features/new weapons in there to play around with. Whether it be just new maps, weapons and custom games, or fully implemented matchmaking, I just want to play it.

Even if it's one map and only FFA, I'll rip open a copy of Crackdown at work for the Beta and RTV that fucker faster than you can say Lockout.

i just hope the graphics are finalized instead of having a half assed beta look to them that'll have the internet swarming over the apparent unfinished.....ness of it.
