Nothing on Bungie's site, or at least that I could find, but I remember hearing not too long ago that MS was pushing them to make it run great in 1080p. Lets hope it pans out.

  2. I heard it too. That Bungie was to have Halo 3 running in 1080i and 60 fps.

    Here.

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  3. That was just an unsubstantiated rumor. And if I'm not mistaken, Bungie's already shot it down. I'm still pulling for it of course, but I don't think there's any way it's gonna happen.

I'm not sure about that. I think at this point they almost have to. With all the money they put into Gears, I would imagine even more is being put into this game, and who knows exactly how long they have been working on it.

I don't know my Halo too well since I've read none of the books and started with the second game and such but I thought that Chux's two "wishes" are pretty much givens. Doesn't the Halo 3 announcement trailer pretty much confirm that Cortana is rampant and that the Earth contains the Ark, which would be part of the Halo system?

  6. Well, remember the Halo 2 teaser, that had a different Mombasa, with the duck and cover, and the wounded marines?

Don't trust shit you see in Bungie Trailers.

I think as far as story goes, there are no worries that general events that occur in the trailer will happen in the game. Even the Halo 2 trailer with gameplay elements that were completely different in the game had the same exact general story.

Bungie doesn't consider the books canon so missing those wouldn't nessecarily mean anything in regards to what they're doing for Halo 3's story.

This actually makes me more sure that the script is fake. Since the script had some references to events and names that occurred in the books.

    Like?

It's been a long time since I read the books, that's why I ask.
