Thread: Why is The New York Times so well respected in spite of it's obvious political slant?

  1. I had a whole diatrabe written but I'm too angry to type it properly, so I'm just gonna say this...

Your naive Spo. Naive and willing to throw conspiracy theories out there with the best of em when it suits your arguments and your party, but unwilling to believe your president has committed any wrong, and this administration is incapable of lying.

I no longer know why I bother arguing with you. I really don't. You don't read, you don't listen, you don't accept anything as fact, you just try to disprove it all. If I came up to you with a recording of G.W. stating, (everything is my fault, I told my adminstiration to lie to start a war) you'd find a way to deny it, or lay the blame on someone else.

I'm asking for accountablity. And this adminstration has shown me none.

Thats all really. K Spo. I'm Micheal Moore and Sean Pean. I'm a liberal fag, and I'll float away right now, like a fairie like me should.

Fahrenheit 9/11 is NOT propaganda, it's a documentary with an obvious political slant. There is ABSOLUTELY no way you can compare it realistically to Triumph of the Will unless you are another neo-con moron who likes to use as many Nazi references as possible when talking about the opposition.
    Time for a change

    You're a Republican now YAWA?

  7. They're at it again, now editing a soldier's death letter to further their own political agenda. Who the fuck still has any respect for this rag?

  8. Michelle Malkin is an idiot. She wrote a book called "In Defense of Internment" that was trying to DEFEND the Japanese-American internment. I doubt anything she says far more than I do the NYT.

Gozen: I'm not defending her, she just happened to be the first hit that came up when I googled the soldier's name. I didn't want to paraphrase, I wanted to post the exact letter. The soldier's family sent the real letter to several press outlets, it's not like she's the only source.

  10. Extreme conservatives are either the proud majority of Americans that make up the backbone of this country, or the repressed minority fighting valiantly against a tidal wave of liberalism, depending on the time of day and which side of the bed they woke up on.

I also think it's funny that most of today's conservatives are really just socially conservative and liberal everything else, since they seem to fully support the government growing bigger, spending more, and getting its hands into everything. When fiscal responsibility is a democratic platform, you know things are out of whack.
