Well, there's a tiny bit more to the English option in VS than first appears to the eye...some good, some bad. Let's review:

1. All text (win quotes, endings, etc.) is in English (well, duh)
2. All characters revert to their American names (Buletta becomes B.B. Hood , etc.)
3. All blood is REMOVED FROM THE GAME!

Yes, when you enable the English option, VS basically becomes the American arcade version- all the blood becomes white, except for Jedah's idle animation and blood attacks...but that blood becomes more...um...jello-like? It basically becomes pinkish and transparent, so I guess it looks more like slime or something. So it's up to you- the English option is great, but it censors the game. I can live with it, but Jedah had a cool standing idle- he just sorta stands there and bleeds-, and it looks silly when he's leaking jello. Still, the amount of blood in VS is so little compared to, like, most every other figting game on the market, you have to wonder why Capcom would feel compelled to censor it. Pul-eese.

If you'll recall, the U.S. versions of the Metal Slug games do the same friggin' thing...

It still ceases to amaze me that companies insist on censoring games that mature teenagers and adults (the target audience) can certainly handle... No sense at all.

Yes, I've seen Lilith's win quotes...I own the import saturn version of Vampire Savior, and it has an English language option. How cool is it for Capcom to include an option like that? I love Capcom.

Well, I guess we all know who's truly the biggest Darkstalkers fan here, now...

Seriously, though, the game plays the same...it's an easy thing to miss. You were probably just so excited about being able to play the game in English that yoyu overlooked it...I did at first.

What would you like to see?

I'd love to see Morrigan get a new move like Lilith's Merry Turn.. but a multiple hit version... She had one in Pocket Fighter, strangely enough....

I personally would like Lillith's "fireball" to get decent.

We need more Jedah, he's just too cool, and I'd love for Q-Bee and Bulleta to return.

I'd like to see Pyron removed, or a complete overhaul, I simply don't like his move list at all (and it's pretty evident where Gill got a large portion of his move list ideas from).

As a wish, I'd love for Morrigan and Lillith to show off that transforming clothes ability more often. Specifically, within moves, taunts, Supers, etc, instead of always basing everything off their basic costume.

I'd say Morrigan shouldn't get the Merry Turn, just because we don't need them as exact characters, and the more moves they have different from each other, the better.

More twisted characters. Like maybe (off the top of my head) a dead possessed character who has a hole portal in his/her chest, and demon(s) can reach out of it into the physical plane (which makes up the move list). Just more cool-looking deranged stuff.

And more bloody/freakish stages. Like the odd stage in Vampire Savior where the bed just keeps thumping and writhing around for no apparent reason, or the stage with the guillotine. Stuff like that.

You're right... No Merry Turn... but her Drill kick should come back... Love that thing...

A super where Morriganm decks out in dominatrix gear and slashes the opponent would be interesting...
