Well, Never seen first 3 of the series
Only seen part 4 and 5, but those were quite different from the first 3, and dealt with different subject matters. I liked them though, quite weird, and had some cool make up fx.
Any fans of this Horror series? It's about a homicidal Santa Claus who goes on a killing spree after he views the death of his own parents. The first was released around X-mas and caused a huge uproar. I have seen the first and the second and the third.I think the later ones stray from the Santa Claus gimmick.
Anyone see any of em?

Its really getting hard on trying to find older horror films, since most of the places dumping their vhs collections, for newer releases. Most of the old films are gone now, some can be found on dvd, but many will just dissapear.
Sad but true and Blockbuster doesn't carry these types older videos. Do you have a Video Update or Home Video near you? they have em there I believe.Originally posted by Despair

Heh. A guilty pleasure of mine. The first movie caused a major uproar. A bunch of cities didn't even carry it in their theatres due to all the negative hype.
Funny tidbit: The original title was "Slayride"
The second movie in the series is kind of a ripoff. It has at least 45 minutes of footage from the first movi in a series of flashbacks befor the actual sequel starts. The acting from the main character is so overdone. He raises his eyebrows with ever sylable he spits out in a forced "Hey look at me, I'm crazy" fasion. It hilarious. If you only can find the second one, you can skip the first and miss out on nothing.
Third one stinks. not that the first two are any good, but this one is really bad.
4&5 are in name only sequels. The fourth one has some shit about a cult and spontaneous combustion. I think the fifth one had something to do with evil killer toys. I don't remember.
Cool another fan! There also was a Horror Movie called Christmas Evil that had a killer Santa Cluas don't know which came out first.Originally posted by adol

Korian,
I read that Anchor Bay will be releasing the second movie in the series on DVD sometime this year.
Cool, thanks for the info Adol.
I saw the first one, but it was so long ago that I barely remember it.
