Games aren't supposed to be simple to beat.

Re: 2-1, check out IGN's faq linked above. The only way to beat some stages is to practice... Hope that you become more adept through trial & error.

Personally, I think the developer jacked up the difficulty to make the game seem longer. It's only 6 chapters after all. Reviewers don't dock as many points for a game being too hard than for being too short.

Don't be concerned about the length. You can replay any stage you've passed, and they're all fun. You should worry about the difficulty if anything.

This game is brilliant.

The operations are really tense and require total concentration.

The translation is great, which is typical of Atlus, and the story is a lot of fun.
