This might be the first DQ game I give a spin. I was already tempted with DW 7 (glad they finally got rid othe DW title)

I was also thinking, if Square ever greenlights another Chrono sequel it'd be awesome if it used a graphics engine like this game.

also, a question for those that've played the japanese version. do the characters clothes/armor change with upgrades? i notices that the swords and sheilds do...but i haven't seen any screens with the characters in different clothes....'cept for the girl character.

Jessica changes her appearance with most (but not all) armor upgrades. The hero has one appearance-altering outfit as far as I know, but I haven't gotten it yet. For the other characters only the shield and weapon appearances change with upgrades.

thank you. if there's one piece of armor that needs to alter the appearance of the main character it should be that dandy suit or whatever it was called from the other games.

i stoped an eb on my lunch break and took a look at the strategy guide. it's really thick. i didn't look at the contents, though.
