seriously guys, please stay on topic, and someone please answer my questions above,

marwan - you don't really have to use the staff in battle but add skill points to it for more spells and boosts in her inteligence.

There's only one b in Arby's.

well, i think the jessica part was covered....but for the hero the "courage" skill just gives him more spells and later on a really good healing spell and his stronges sword technique if you have swords maxed out. i think in the end you'll find stronger swords over spears...but there are some good skills in spears as well.
cool, thanks!
what about using fist?(bare hands) that's a waste right? adding skill point to that that is.
uhm....well, you get more agility with fisticufs. that could help you later when you want jess to cast spells first/faster + she'll be harder to hit with physical attacks. i'm using fistucufs with yungus 'cause i wanna increase his critical hit rate...a bit weaker than using a scythe, though.
gosh all those skill levels and stats are driving me nuts. though not as complex as FF series.
btw, how do i raise my MP during battle? do i have to obtain a skill for that, or use the alchamy to cook up something?
I think there's an item or two that'll help, but skills are the easiest way. For Angelo, put points into bows or staves (i'd recommend bows for him,) and Jessica gets a passive MP regen wayyyyy down the staff tree. The hero doesn't get any regen skills, but putting points into courage helps a lot by reducing the mana cost of all spells.Originally Posted by marwan

you won't really have to do too much leveling up if you plan correctly. just start early on the skills that'll benefit you in the long run.
