Some guy named Daniel Craig. He was in some movie called Layer Cake that I never saw. I think he's British. Bond hasn't had a decent movie in years. Will this guy be any better than Timothy Dalton or the 200 year-old Pierce Brosnan? I dunno.

The only thing this movie has going for it so far is that it's the first Bond flick in ages that's actually based on an Ian Flemming novel, Casino Royale. Will that be enough to make the franchise any good once again? Will whoever the director is fuck it up and reduce it from cool, tense and stylish to yet more flashy CG-laden garbage like every other modern Bond movie? Guess we'll find out.

Wait. What happened to Pierce Brosnan? I thought he was still in the loop for Casino Royale and a movie or two afterwards?

I dont like this new guy as Bond. He was the ratty little weakling of a son in that Tom Hanks movie, Road to Perdition, right?

The producers thought he was too old. They were right.

I'm not really sure who he is. I heard Layer Cake was okay, and he starred in that. Maybe I'll give it a rent.

The series sucks now and Daniel Craig is a good actor. This can only be a good change.

The guy who did Goldeneye is doing Casino Royale. Word's still out if Woody Allen will reprise his role.

Well the only movie I have seen with Daniel Craig was Layer Cake, and Layer Cake was awesome. Not sure if he has the personality of Bond, but I guess we'll have to see.

Check out Layer Cake Dolemite, it just came out on DVD a few weeks ago. It was an awesome movie.

Pierce had said a million times he was done with the Bond series. And to be fair, the last Bond movie was the only Bond movie with extensive CG work. GE, The World is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies used CG very sparingly (I don't think there was any in GE).

I totally agree. Sean Connery would never accept a movie role that made him look less than manly, would he? No sir.

Brosnan was out and then back in again, i guess now he's back out again. Oh well.
