No thread? Well after watching that first trailer for domino, with knightly
REPEATED very annoyingly 'my name is domino harvey, i am a bounty hunter' a million times and ending that trailer knowing nothng but that, i was immedately turned off by the film.
Second trailer made sence, although the movie still did not look all that appealing
for some reason i went and saw it friday. Its going to end up being one of the better movies of this year.
Visual style might remind you of man on fire, because its from the same producer, tony scott.
The film is literaly filled with sooo many plot twists it got difficult to keep up if you werent paying very close attention to everything. Me and my friends literaly got out of the movie, got a peice of paper and wrote down all the happenings, because 1 action caused 3 others that caused 6 others that all lead down to something else happening with the 1st to cause them all.
In other words, shit happends.
Good movie, worth the watch definately. Its up there in movies this year, althought thats still not saying much sadly.

this isnt what used to be v for vendetta is it?
A movie with both Walken and Mickeey Rourke is hard for me to resist, although I'll probably wait for the DVD.
Oh, and V for Vendetta was pushed back to the 1st quarter of 2006 (no reason specified, but it was because of the London bombings this summer.. if you read the V graphic novel you'd understand why). If it weren't for that event, the movie would have been released on November 5th (again, if you read the graphic novel..), about two weeks from now.
Domino was highly entertaining. Film geeks and people who think they're above movies that on occasion (or often, as it may be) don't make any kind of sense at all whatsoever will probably not enjoy this movie. If you like action and don't mind stupidity in between said action, you'll have a good time. Keira Knightley is super hot, yes, even hotter than usual in this movie, regardless of the ass double. It's worth seeing, but the ending sucks. As long as you're ready for that, you can appreciate everything else in the movie, including the completely nonsensical and random Tom Waits cameo, while the soundtrack is actually playing Jesus Gonna Be Here. And that's not the only Tom Waits song in the movie. That made me happy.
Anyway, go see it. And if you don't like it, you are a quite possibly a jerk.

I thought it was pretty awesome. The editing is like shakey cam on crack, but for some reason I dug it.
Well, you sure told them.Originally Posted by Grave

Legitimate tough girls:
Linda Hamilton - Terminator series
Sigourney Weaver - Alien series
Kate Beckinsdale - Underworld
Flakes:
Kiera Knightly
except that Kate Beckinsdale holds her handguns like a limp wristed pussy in Underworld..and she doesnt even begin to belong on that fucking list.
XBL Gamertag = XMrWhitefolksX
Yeah...I wasn't sure I'd include her, but she and the movie pulled her character off really well. She could at least use vampirism as a solution in lieu of legitimate ability.
Plus I couldn't think of anymore and I thought the list should have 3...
Im staying at the stratosphere today yayyyyyyy
.....it was cheap fuck you
