Just saw the cover art for Mario Kart DS. Mario is breakdancing on top of his kart...that's off the hook. I wonder if it's a new special attack.

ProTip: You don't have to eat disgusting McDonalds food to take advantage of their hotspot. You don't even have to go inside, the optimal range is about a hundred feet. Sit in the parking lot, on a bench, in a place next door or across the street, in the mall, wherever.
There is a definate appeal to all of a sudden having a chain of 3 trillion Fast Food DS Cafe's however, I'd be lying if I said this wasn't going to lead to me eating at McDonalds more. And even if I'm not going to eat, I'd probably get a drink or a milkshake or ice cream or something to enjoy while I'm hanging out with my DS.
My girlfriend's kids LOVE McDonald's.. the Happy Meals and what-not. We try not to take them too often, but on Friday nights at the mall, it's what they want. Smart move on Nintendo's part.
Brilliant backbreaking move on Nintendo's part, next up: Walmart will be a Nintendo DS hotspot.
I don't think so man. In McDonalds you sit down all the time so it makes sense to pull out a DS while you're there eating. Another good idea would be Starbucks (lots of college kids hang out at Starbucks) or even other fast food chains.
Up here in Canada Tim Horton's would be a good pick or Swiss Chalet.

The only burger McD's makes anymore that I can actually eat without becoming violently ill is the Big 'n Tasty. As cool as this arrangement sounds, I doubt I'll want to haul my DS to a shit restaurant just so I can play online when I can order delivery food that is infinitely better and do it from home.
Or at least that's what I'll keep telling myself until the promise of a cheap hot fudge sunday becomes too much to keep me away.
P.S. Anyone remember the "Pokemon trading areas" at BK a few years ago?
