Thread: Doom

  1. Frown Doom

There was no general thread for Doom and it comes out this week, so here you go.

I went in with zero expectations. I came out with less than I went in. I want pieces of my soul back.

Actually, I went in hoping for the best. To be pleasantly surprised.

Instead, I got what had to be, I shit you not, the worst film I have ever had to sit through in my entire life.

    Battlefield: Earth considered.

    Discuss.

  2. Could have scored a pass for tonight, but I didn't feel like it. Gonna go on Friday, knowing full well that this is probably going to hurt. Will report back when I do.

  3. there's no way this will out do alone in the dark, so it'll be worth my 9.00

  5. I went since it was a press screening, free and 2 blocks from where I work. I had nothing to lose. . or so I thought.

  6. My sister (never played the games) mentioned that it looked good and she wanted to see it. I laughed.

  7. Have you seen Mission to Mars? Because in my book that beats Battlefield Earth for worst movie ever without even trying. Hell, for the music alone. Doom has mutant freaks, so it has to be at least a step above that.

  8. Battlefield Earth is the worst film ever, followed closely by House of the Dead.

  9. Obviously none of you have seen Alex & Emma.
